“Never depend on a single income, make an investment to create a second source.”

— Warren Buffet

1. Your Passion

Trying to figure out what can push you further in your career? If you’re not growing in the corporate world, maybe you should consider investing in your first love as well. What do you love? What do you see yourself doing years from now? It’s understandable that you can’t immediately leave your regular job to support your needs and be able to cover for your financial responsibilities.

There are ways to still pursue your career on the side; you can think of ideas on your downtime, you may work on it when you get home if it’s still possible or do it on the weekends. Another source of income wouldn’t hurt. Actually, if you continue doing it, you might be able to pursue your passion full-time. Time is gold, learn how to maximize it without burning yourself too much. After all, this passion of yours maybe your outlet that could keep you away from being stagnant in life.

2. Your Health

“To keep the body in good health is a duty... otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear.”

— Buddha

Remember that ‘Health is Wealth’, the value of what you’re earning won’t matter if you’re not physically and mentally competent. You will end up just using it for health maintenance, hospital bills, and the whatnot. If you invest in yourself, you will attract lots of good work opportunities and will be able to work properly that can lead you to attain and progress personal and career growth.

Your mind matters. Keep yourself happy, it will also be the source of your energy and inspiration to doing things you’ve been wanting to do. Eat and live healthy, have a balanced lifestyle. Your work ethics will level up. You will have more time in preparing on something you want to venture on in the future.

2. Knowledge

Your mind is one of the keys to achieving success. Always grab the opportunity to keep learning and broadening your knowledge. Read, explore, and attend workshop and activities that will improve what you already know. These will help you be equipped in building and starting your very own business.

Learning is not just about the traditional way — books and classes. It helps a lot through its depth. But experience is the best teacher. Be open to the other people’s stories of their experiences. There will be times that you will be on the same shoes as theirs, they will gladly help and inspire you with what they can instill in you.
